Fun at the Carnival!

We went to the Wellesley Newcomers' Carnival a couple of weeks ago. Ava enjoyed the ball pit and shooting a few hoops!

Some of Ava's Favorite Things

Ava will soon be 2 years old!! She is so much fun at this age and is starting to talk quite a bit! She loves lots of the same food that Mommy loves; tomatoes, pickles, olives and broccoli, but I also have to admit she has a sweet tooth like Mommy! She found the candy corn and absolutely loves it, but she's only had a couple of pieces! She also loves stickers and most of all - band-aids!! Her favorite toys are her dolls and she takes such great care of them; patting their backs, putting them to sleep and feeding them.

Action-packed week!

We have had a fun-filled few days here! On Friday, we met our friends Holly and Caly at Davis Farm. Ava went on a pony ride, a hay ride, helped bottle feed a cow, brushed a cow and saw baby goats! It was great to see Holly and Caly since it had been so long! We met our friends Emily, Eric, Spencer and Ethan at the Boston Children's Museum on Saturday. Ava and the boys had a really fun time!

Ava is a mini Sean!!

Most people think that Ava looks like me unless they have met Sean, then they change their minds! The look alike meter also agrees!

My Gym Class with Elizabeth

Ava and her friend Elizabeth started their My Gym class this week. They both loved it, but weren't loving circle time since all of the fun toys were outside of the circle!

Writing on the wall!!

Ava and I were playing in her playroom and the minute I looked away, she decided to color on our newly painted wall and herself!! Thank goodness they were washable markers!!

Ava's First Day of School!

Ava started school on Tuesday! Sean and I both took her and that might have been a mistake because she was crying for Daddy for almost 10 minutes after we left the room. Sean wanted to take her home with us! We ended up staying in the hall until she stopped crying and then she was fine for the rest of the day. She was great when I dropped her off on Thursday! The teachers said she was a very good helper and helped clean up at snack time.
