The O'Neill Family!

We finally got a decent family photo since Davis' birth! This has been on my to-do list for months, and Ava was the only child in her class without a family photo on the family tree in her classroom!

We just returned from a week in Houston. We had a nice, relaxing week visiting family. Davis began to talk too!!! Well, not exactly, but I really think he is saying Mama!!!

Little Getaway!

Sean and I took a little vacation to California since he had meetings there. We had a wonderful time and loved being able to sleep in past 6am, but missed the kids lots! The night before we left, we took Ava out for a late night out on the town!

Davis is 6 months old!

Our sweet boy is 6 months old and now 6 1/2 months as I write this! He is the happiest little boy and constantly has a smile on his face! We went for his 6 month check-up and he was 20 pounds and 28 1/4 inches!!! A VERY BIG BOY! Ava is 3 years old and only weighs 10 pounds more!

At 6 months old:

- Davis finally started eating rice cereal, oatmeal and squash and absolutely loves every bite!!

- Davis is rocking back and forth on his hands and legs, trying to crawl

- Davis can sit up by himself sometimes

- He loves playing with big sister, Ava, and is starting to get interested in her toys, which she isn't too sure about!

- Sleeps through the night and is a great napper most of the time

- He smiles when anyone looks at him

Ava started taking ballet class at The Boston Ballet. It's our last "Mommy and Me" class! We're taking it with our friends, Katy and Elizabeth!

School Days

Ava had her first day of school today! She is now a Buttercup at school and loves her new teachers! When I picked her up today, she wasn't even ready to go! As soon as I entered the room, she was so excited to tell me that she ate all of her lunch!! She also made both of us a necklace made out of fruit loops!

Red Sox with Daddy

Sean took Ava to her first Red Sox game yesterday. They took the "T" to Fenway park! They had such a fun time and Ava sampled almost everything they had on the menu, including a hotdog, pretzel, cotton candy, popcorn, gummy bears and icecream! She loved clapping during the game and sat in her seat the entire time!

Our Labor Day Weekend

After spending time in Houston, we are finally back and enjoying catching up with all of our friends! We got together with our friends, Katy and Rob and their girls, Elizabeth and Frances. We had not seen them all summer, so Ava had a great time playing with Elizabeth and also visiting the farm with her to ride the train and pick peaches. The next day, we visited with our friends, Sonia and Don and their girls, Maggie and Sarah.
