Our Weekend

We had a nice, relaxing weekend and spent a lot of time outside! Davis also enjoyed tummy time and lounging with Ava! As of last Friday, he now weighs

10 pounds, 13 ounces!

Boston Marathon!

Ava and I went to cheer on the runners in the Boston Marathon last Monday! We also met up with some of Ava's favorite friends; Emily, Spencer and Ethan!

Sip and See for Baby Davis!

Some of my wonderful friends, Emily, Katy and Jeannette, hosted a "Sip and See" for us this Sunday. It was so nice for everyone to finally meet Davis! Everything was just perfect; adorable monogrammed onesie cookies, cupcakes with cowboy boots, rocking horses and Davis's monogram and beautiful flowers!!

Spring Flowers!

Ava helped me plant flowers this weekend. She helped dig the holes to plant the flowers around the tree and helped water the flowers. The flowers around the tree didn't stay for long because I noticed later in the day that she had dug up all of the flowers that we planted and put them in her bag!

Big Apple Circus!

We took Ava to her first circus this past Saturday. The show was great and Ava loved having her own popcorn and cotton candy!

Big Boy!

Davis is growing so fast! Last Thursday at his 5 week check-up, he weighed in at 10 pounds, 3 ounces and was 22 1/2 inches in length!

Pajama Day at School!

Ava had "Pajama Day" at school last week!

Ava and Davis

Ava is 30 months old and Davis is 1 month old! Ava loves Davis so much and enjoys helping Mommy and Daddy take care of him!

At 1 month, Davis:
- is starting to enjoy playing a little
- doesn't like diaper changes (it must run in the family since Ava still doesn't like them!)
- loves being in the sling on Mommy
- loves to eat (finishes every bottle completely!)
- likes to smile and coo
- loves getting kisses from Ava

At 30 months, Ava:
- loves her ballet class
- talks in complete sentences and repeats most everything

- tells us that she loves us all the time

- loves giving us kisses
- loves her baby brother
- loves blowing out candles on birthday cake and singing happy birthday (see picture)
- loves being outside

- loves going to Home Depot with Daddy (see picture)
- loves taking care of her baby dolls
- loves music, singing and dancing (we listen to her music ONLY in the car, as she has many music requests every time we're in the car!)

Our weekend

We had a great weekend! The weather was perfect, so we spent a lot of time outside. Davis also seemed to like being out! Ava and Grammie have spent lots of time outside playing in the backyard too.

Ava's First Haircut

Ava had her very first haircut at 2 1/2 years old! I've been waiting for this day for a very long time! There wasn't much to cut, but it looks really cute and I think she actually liked getting her haircut!

Davis is 4 weeks old!

I can't believe Davis is already 4 weeks old!! We are greatly enjoying our sweet baby boy!

Go Red Sox!

Since its Red Sox Opening Day today, all of the kids in Ava's class dressed in their Red Sox attire. Ava loved her hat!
