Our last day in NYC!

We packed in lots of fun on our last full day in NYC! We started our day with a horse drawn carriage ride through Central Park, lots of walking and then lunch in Little Italy! It was also so much fun to see all of the beautiful Christmas decorations everywhere! I've included a few!

We're having a wonderful time in New York City feeling very thankful for being here, spending time with our kids, going to the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade for the second year and having amazing family and friends!

My birthday weekend!

I had a fabulous birthday weekend planned by my sweet husband! The festivities began on Saturday when my Mom arrived! and Sean and I went to an incredible dinner! Sean carefully planned such an amazing day on my birthday filled with surprises all throughout the day! He and Ava had the house decorated with balloons and other fun stuff! He had my favorite cake made and he and Davis picked out beautiful flowers too! Before dinner we opened gifts and Sean gave me what I thought was a pair of earrings (huge surprise!!), but instead they were paper earrings because they were on backorder for a couple of months! We all went to dinner that evening and Sean had one more gift, but told me I shouldn't get too excited. I opened the gift to see such a surprise - the earrings that I thought were on backorder!! Thank you, Sean, Ava, Davis and Mom for making my birthday such an amazing day!!!!

Another new skirt!

Ava is wearing another skirt that I made for her when we were in Fort Worth. It was such fun designing the skirt with all of the amazing fabric at Grammie's fabric store!
