Thanksgiving in NYC!

Cyndi Lauper

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving in New York City with Grampy and Aunt Haley! It was Grampy's first trip to NYC, so we were super excited to show him around! We started the trip watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade which was just amazing!! Somehow, Sean got us in the third row of the reserved seating! I'm still not sure how he finagled that! We visited Times Square, the Statue of Liberty from a distance, Serendipity for some yummy frozen hot chocolate and great food in Little Italy!

Pajama Day at School

Ava and Davis dressed in matching pj's for pajama day at school today. Ava was so excited about wearing her pj's to school! We've been talking about which ones she would wear for over a week! I guess Davis wasn't as excited!

Davis

Here are a few recent photos of Davis. He is such a busy boy and absolutely loves being outside, playing with his trucks and also helping Mommy take clothes out of the dryer and the dishwasher!!

Ballet

I was so excited to finally see what Ava does each week in her ballet class! Parents were invited to watch the class since the door is always closed without windows to peek in! It was so cute! I can't wait for her first recital this Spring!

Red Velvet Cupcakes!!

My sweet friend, Jeannette, invited me for a scrumptious morning that included baking red velvet cupcakes with the Pastry Chef at the Four Seasons in their kitchen and champagne too! What a fun morning!

My Birthday

We had a fun, joint birthday celebration since my birthday was on the same day as Ava's party! Sean and the kids surprised me with cupcakes from two of my favorite places and had the house decorated! We also had a great dinner with Mimi, Sean and the kids!

Art Party!

We celebrated Ava's 4th birthday this weekend with an art themed party! She and all of her friends had a fabulous time creating fun art projects including treasure boxes, wands, jewelry and even painting a castle! Davis never ventured far from the bead table where he and Mimi created some one of a kind treasures! I made all of the kids art smocks as party favors and they all looked so cute in them! What a fun day!!
