We enjoyed a couple days in Nantucket this weekend! We took the ferry to Nantucket and had a wonderful time playing on the beach (add fleeces and no swimsuits!), collecting shells, visiting the Whaling Museum, and watching the big boats!

Ballet

November 2007Today Ava had her first ballet class of the year. We went back to the place she took 2 years ago and she had a fantastic first day back! She even had the same teacher from 2 years ago! Her hair is finally long enough to put back in a bun!

Davis is 18 months old!
I can't believe our baby boy is 18 months old!
At 18 months, Davis loves:
- playing with his sister and her toys
- looking at books and us reading to him
- stacking blocks
- climbing on everything
- loves music and dancing when he hears music
- to sleep and takes great naps
- chicken and really any meat, most all fruit and veggies, edamame, bacon
- being outside and going on stroller rides and to the park
- visiting the ducks at the pond
- being pushed on his tricycle
- gummy vitamins
- brushing his teeth
- playing in water
Davis' First Day of School!

Davis' first day of school was last Thursday. He now attends the same school as Ava and has the same teacher Ava had 2 years ago. For the most part, the day was perfect. I took Davis to his classroom and he immediately starting coloring and playing with stampers at the art table. He could barely tear himself away to say bye to me! I couldn't believe how easy the drop-off was! I decided to come a bit early to pick them up and so glad that I did! Davis got very upset the last 20 minutes of the day and had to be held and didn't eat one bite of his lunch! He was fine once I got there, but I'm a little worried about next Monday.

Ava's First Day of Preschool!
Ava had her first day of preschool today and had a fantastic day! There were no tears this morning, she just went right in and started playing! After a great first day of school, we made a trip to American Girl and the gelato place!

We had a wonderful long weekend with great friends! We visited the Crates on Sunday and the Bocans on Monday and had a lovely time catching up while the kids played! We also managed to fit in a fun trip to the park!
