Ava is 2! I can't believe our little girl is 2 years old! We had many birthday celebrations for her starting on her actual birthday, October 18th. Grammie came in to help us celebrate! I made mini cupcakes and brought them to her school and the kids in her class had them for a snack. When we arrived to school the morning of her birthday, the teachers and other kids were making Ava a giant birthday card with stickers. We donated a book to the school in honor of Ava and they read the book that day and dedicated the book to Ava and put it in the library. We also celebrated that evening with a big Elmo cake! She loved giving the Elmo cake kisses and especially enjoyed the frosting! She also really enjoyed blowing out the candles, so we had to light them a few times so she could keep blowing them out! She received lots of very special birthday presents too! Aunt Jenny made her an adorable pink quilt with her name on it!! We can't wait to put it in her new pink room!!
